As many as 23 people were injured — two critically — on Thursday morning when a US Asia tour bus headed for a casino crashed head-on with a car on San Gabriel Boulevard in Rosemead, east of Los Angeles, California.
Los Angeles County fire Inspector Matt Levesque said the accident started with a rear-end collision between two cars in the forced one of the cars into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with the bus, according to a CBS Channel 2 News report.

Bus crashed head-on causing fatal injuries
Both the driver of the car and the bus driver were said to be in critical condition. Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Frederic Stowers told the Los Angeles Times that the bus driver was taken to a trauma center along with two others. Seven of the bus passengers sustained minor injuries and 13 others were treated at the scene and released.
The Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff’s departments are investigating the accident, according to the Times.
